The findings of the 2020 BUILDER Brand Use Study have been revealed, and Whirlpool ranks No. 1 in two key performance areas:

  • “Brand used in the past two years" within the kitchen appliance category
  • “Brand used the most" within the laundry appliance category

The 2020 BUILDER Brand Use Study, sponsored by Hanley Wood and conducted by The Farnsworth Group, surveyed more than 1,000 U.S. builders, contractors and industry professionals to discover the products they recognize, use and trust.

Whirlpool ranked No. 1 in "brand used in the past two years" for the kitchen appliance category, surpassing 15 competitors mentioned.

Whirlpool also ranked No. 1 in the "brand used the most" within the laundry appliance category. The brand received just over 20% of votes, beating out 13 competitors. Important factors that influenced brand selection included product performance, warranty, product price, availability, ease of installation and more.
